BioI'm a 27 y.o. gal who loves to hang out with friends, have some cocktails and just enjoy life! I love senseless humor, spontaneous, weird things that aren't supposed to be funny but are. I live for it! It's important to laugh really hard at least once a day. I beleive this may be one of the secrets to a longer, healthier, and more fulfilled life.
I have a deep love for the Rockabilly culture. But I cannot go as far as to say I'm strictly a Rockabilly chick. I like too many different things! I love all types of music and people. Alot of my friends are just regular folks who like to get together, go grab some PBR's at the local dive and just hang loose. If I am listening to a Big Bopper record, or donning some thigh higs and red lipstick, or going to a car show, taking some sexy pinup pics or getting buckwild at Viva Las Vegas it's because of the way it makes ME feel...not how cool I think others are seeing me as. I will never be one of those "look at me, look how many great tattoos I have, how many important people i'm friends with, how bad ass our cars are" people who are in the scene strictly to showboat and try to out-Rockabilly eachother. When I hear Rockabilly music or dress in those clothes or am in and around old cars I feel a true happiness. Watching old movies is like my therapy. No matter how challenging life can get, just going to my bedroom, turning the lights off and laying in bed watching TCM can make it all melt away. And it's all about how we feel inside and what makes us content, right?
When I am not working you can find me in the kitchen whipping up some Chinese or Thai cuisine. I love asian cooking methods and have devoted alot of my free time to perfecting them. My family enjoys reaping the benefits of this :) I love thrift store shopping, especially for old appliances and household goods. Things/people I cannot live without: a good dive bar that serves um up cold cheap and strong, my friends, my dad, my husband, my cat, a live band on a Saturday night, pilates, being in love, wedge heels, thigh high stockings, red lipstick, black eyeliner, Lords of Acid, grape flavored Gatorade, turkey bacon, and an in-home stripper pole! Hehe
